On May 7 officers were sent to an address on Canyon East Parkway in reference to a disturbance involving a male and female. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers made a harassment report on May 7 on Edgewood.
Also on May 7, a debit card abuse was reported on Country Club.
On May 8 officers were dispatched to an address on Shelley in reference to a fraud report.
Also on May 8, officers arrested a male at his residence in the 2700 block of 3rd Avenue.
On May 9 officers made a traffic stop in the 2300 block of 5th Avenue. The vehicle was searched and marijuana was found. Citations were issued.
On May 10 officers recovered the white Ford pickup that was stolen a few weeks ago. The vehicle was located off of Manhattan street in Amarillo. The suspects have been identified and are being prosecuted.
Also on May 10, a report of tampering with evidence was made in the 2300 block of Russell Long Boulevard.
On May 11 a loud party was reported on Hunsley Road. The officers located and issued citations for alcohol violations.
On May 12 officers made a traffic stop in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance.
A credit card abuse report was made May 12 on North Ridge.
Also on May 12, officers made a traffic stop at 4th Avenue and 23rd Street. The vehicle was searched, and marijuana and paraphernalia were found. The driver was issued citations for possessing the items.
On May 13 officers made a traffic stop at US 87 and Hunsley Road. The driver was arrested for outstanding warrants.
There were two reportable crashes during the week. The crashes were all due to speed and failing to yield right of way.
