On May 14 a debit card abuse was reported in the 1500 block of 7th Avenue.
Also on May 14, a forgery and fraud were reported in the 3800 block of 4th Avenue.
On May 16 a report for assault was made in the 400 block of Foster Lane.
On May 17 officers checked on a suspicious male that was sleeping in a vehicle at Walmart. Officers searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana, and they located drug paraphernalia. The person was issued a citation for the paraphernalia.
Officers responded May 17 to Walmart on a theft of property.
Also on May 17, officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. The vehicle was searched, and marijuana and paraphernalia were found. The driver was issued a citation.
On May 18 officers were dispatched to the 300 block of 5th Street in reference to an argument. The officers found that one of the people involved had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and taken to jail.
A burglary of a vehicle was reported May 18 in the 600 block of Oregon Trail.
Officers responded May 18 to Walmart on a theft. They arrested a female for theft of property, and she was also arrested for an outstanding warrant for theft.
Officers responded May 18 to an address on Sandra Lane in reference to a trespasser. The suspect has been identified and the case will be presented for possible prosecution.
Also on May 18, a report of credit card abuse was made at an address on Canyon East Parkway.
On May 19 officers made a traffic stop at Highway 60 and Brown Road. The vehicle was searched and drug paraphernalia was found. The driver was issued a citation.
On May 20 officers were dispatched to the area of the 2600 block of 10th Avenue on a vehicle hitting other vehicles. The driver and vehicle were located. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and failing to stop at the accident.
There were nine reportable crashes during the week. The crashes were due to speed, DWI, debris in the roadway and failing to yield right of way.
