On July 16 a 5×8 enclosed U-haul bumper pull type trailer was stolen from the parking lot at Holiday Inn between 3-7 a.m. The trailer contained electronics and other business equipment.

An orange 2017 Tao Tao brand moped was stolen July 16 from the 2500 block of 8th Avenue.

On July 17 a white Trek brand mountain bike was stolen from the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue. The bike is made for a female, and it has blue logos attached to it.

The theft of a cell phone case was reported July 17 at Walmart. The suspects were issued citations.

On July 20 a burglary of a garage was reported in the 400 block of 5th Avenue. The suspect took a sword and bb gun. The suspect has been identified and the investigation in ongoing.

Officers made a traffic stop July 20 in the 2200 block of Highway 60. They searched the vehicle and located marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and THC wax. The driver and passenger were arrested.

On July 22 officers responded to a report of a crash on US 87 and US 60. The driver was found to be intoxicated.

Officers responded July 22 to the golf course in reference to subjects discharging fireworks and being disorderly. The suspect were located and arrested for possessing marijuana and being intoxicated in public.

There were four reportable crashes this week. The crashes were due to speed, failure to yield right of way, and following too closely.
