On Sept. 3 officers made a traffic stop in the 400 block of 15th Street. The driver was arrested for outstanding warrants and DWLI.
On Sept. 5 officers made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 23rd Street. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Officers made a traffic stop Sept. 5 at Griffin and Lindsey. The driver was in possession of meth and he had outstanding warrants. He was arrested and transported to Randall County jail.
On Sept. 6 officers responded to an assault at the Midway High School. A juvenile male assaulted another male with a sharp object. The victim had minor injuries. The juvenile suspect was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Officers made a traffic stop Sept. 6 in the 1400 block of US 87. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Sept. 8 officers responded to a burglary of a vehicle in the 500 block of Foster. The caller described the suspect as a young Hispanic male approximately 5-02”. The suspect was last seen running south down the alley. The officers did not locate the man.
On Sept. 9 officers responded to the 500 block of Foster in reference to the same suspect from the burglary above. The suspect reportedly assaulted the caller with a box cutter when he confronted him outside his residence. The incident is under investigation.
There were six reportable crashes during the week. The crashes were due to failure to yield right of way, speed and following too close.
